We all know Sophia Bush as an incredible actress and entrepreneur, but she's also a self-proclaimed "long-time environmental advocate." That's why, her new partnership with Planet Oat and One Tree Planted this month, makes perfect sense.

"I think everyone often takes time in April to say, 'What more could I be doing? What more could I be learning?'" she says. So, Bush is encouraging everyone to do their part this Earth Day, either by planting trees in their community or simply by donating $2, which equals two trees planted, to Planet Oat's partnership with One Tree Planted. "Planet Oat and One Tree Planted make it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees," she says.

Considering her passion for the environment, it's also not surprising that the Good Sam actress is a fan of Tata Harper, a natural skincare company, which she credits for her radiant skin. Specifically, the brand's Nourishing Makeup Removing Oil Cleanser.

"One of the things that has made such a difference in my skin is actually a makeup remover," she tells Woman's Day. "Tata Harper, who is a very wonderful, sustainable maker of all things beauty has an oil wash."

"And you would think that washing your face with oil would be a terrible idea, but it's actually really amazing," she continues. "And especially for me, long hours wearing makeup on set — it gets everything off my face. And I just love it the most. So that's my foundational product."

Bush also chatted with Woman's Day about her podcast, Work in Progress, and the biggest thing she's learned so far this year.

"The thing that I keep coming back to is, just be curious. That's really the root of all of this for me. Being curious about how best to support the environment as a young person growing up in California is what led me into the space of advocacy and that led me to so many other causes. It was the environment that led me to women's issues, that led me to justice issues, that led me to being an advocate for voting rights access and democracy, and it was that curiosity that led me to start the podcast in the first place... It's really, for me, a constant lesson to remember to stay curious and to always be willing to learn more."
