Everything You Need To Know About the New Amazon Prime Day

The new Amazon Prime Day, formerly known as the Amazon Prime Early Access Sale, will take place on October 11 and October 12, 2022. Much like Prime Day, it is a two-day event, with the best deals occurring during a 48-hour window and additional deals happening in the days leading up to and following the official sale. This is Amazon's first Prime member-exclusive sale outside of Amazon Prime Day, which until this year has only happened once annually.

This sale is going to be a great one as the current deals are any indication. We are already seeing prices on Apple products comparable to the last Amazon Prime Day in July. Right now, the Apple Watch Series 7 is $100 off for $329, the lowest price ever for this model of Apple Watch. The 10.2-inch iPad is also the lowest price ever on Amazon, discounted 9% off for a total of $299. AirPods Pro are 28% off right now, which is only a slightly smaller discount than the 30% Prime Day AirPods deal we saw in July. An Amazon Prime membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year (there are some discounts for students, seniors and other qualifying individuals).
